- Preheat your workspace, line a large baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.
- In a large mixing bowl, pour in an entire box of Crispix cereal and toss gently to break up any clumps.
- In a medium saucepan over medium heat, add the butter and melt completely until golden and smooth.
- Add the brown sugar to the melted butter, stir constantly until it comes to a boil and sugar dissolves.
- Mix in corn syrup and vanilla, return to a boil for another 2-3 minutes while stirring continuously.
- Remove from heat, quickly stir in baking soda until mixed; the mixture will foam.
- Pour the caramel mixture over Crispix and fold gently until all pieces are coated.
- Spread the coated mixture onto the prepared baking sheet in an even layer.
- Allow to cool for about an hour before breaking into clusters and storing.
