Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your workspace, line a large baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, pour in an entire box of Crispix cereal and toss gently to break up any clumps.
  3. In a medium saucepan over medium heat, add the butter and melt completely until golden and smooth.
  4. Add the brown sugar to the melted butter, stir constantly until it comes to a boil and sugar dissolves.
  5. Mix in corn syrup and vanilla, return to a boil for another 2-3 minutes while stirring continuously.
  6. Remove from heat, quickly stir in baking soda until mixed; the mixture will foam.
  7. Pour the caramel mixture over Crispix and fold gently until all pieces are coated.
  8. Spread the coated mixture onto the prepared baking sheet in an even layer.
  9. Allow to cool for about an hour before breaking into clusters and storing.
