  • 2 cloves Garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon Ginger freshly minced
  • 0.5 teaspoon Chili Flakes adjust according to spice preference
  • 1 tablespoon Vegetable Oil or any light oil
  • 1 teaspoon Sesame Oil for finishing
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Ground Black Pepper
For Garnishing
  • 1 tablespoon Toasted Black Sesame Seeds optional but recommended

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Begin by trimming the tips of the snow peas and removing any stringy edges. Rinse them under cool water and pat dry with a kitchen towel.
  2. In a large skillet or wok, heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil and 1 teaspoon of sesame oil over medium heat.
  3. Add ½ teaspoon of chili flakes to the hot oil and sauté for about 10 seconds until fragrant.
  4. Immediately add the prepared snow peas, 2 cloves of minced garlic, and 1 teaspoon of freshly minced ginger to the skillet. Sauté for 4 to 5 minutes.
  5. Once the snow peas are cooked to your liking, remove the skillet from heat and sprinkle with 1 tablespoon of toasted black sesame seeds before serving.
