- Begin by trimming the tips of the snow peas and removing any stringy edges. Rinse them under cool water and pat dry with a kitchen towel.
- In a large skillet or wok, heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil and 1 teaspoon of sesame oil over medium heat.
- Add ½ teaspoon of chili flakes to the hot oil and sauté for about 10 seconds until fragrant.
- Immediately add the prepared snow peas, 2 cloves of minced garlic, and 1 teaspoon of freshly minced ginger to the skillet. Sauté for 4 to 5 minutes.
- Once the snow peas are cooked to your liking, remove the skillet from heat and sprinkle with 1 tablespoon of toasted black sesame seeds before serving.
