Preparation
- Allow 8 ounces of cream cheese to soften at room temperature for about 30 minutes. Spread evenly across the platter.
- Scoop red pepper jelly to drizzle over the cream cheese. Aim for approximately 1/2 to 1 cup depending on preference.
- Arrange an assortment of crackers and vegetable sticks around the platter for dipping.
Baking Phyllo Bites
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C), and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Fill mini phyllo shells with approximately 1 teaspoon of softened cream cheese using a spoon or piping bag.
- Top each filled shell with about 1/2 teaspoon of red pepper jelly.
- Bake for 5–7 minutes until golden brown and crisp.
- Garnish with fresh thyme or green onions before serving.
