  • 6 tbsp unsalted butter softened
  • 3 tbsp white miso paste substitute regular miso if needed
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar balances the savory miso
  • 2 tsp fresh ginger grated
  • 1-2 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 tbsp green onions sliced thin
Salmon
  • 6 oz salmon fillets opt for high-quality, wild-caught salmon

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a medium bowl, combine the ingredients for the miso butter and mix thoroughly with a spatula until smooth.
  2. Spread a layer of the miso butter over each salmon fillet and let sit at room temperature.
  3. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and bake salmon for 12-15 minutes, or use an air fryer at 400°F (200°C) for 9-10 minutes.
  4. Serve the salmon with any remaining miso butter and garnish with extra sliced green onions.
