- In a large mixing bowl, combine 3 cups of all-purpose flour, ¼ cup granulated sugar, and 2 ¼ teaspoons active dry yeast. Slowly pour in 1 cup of warm milk, ⅓ cup melted butter, and 1 beaten egg while mixing. Knead for about 10 minutes.
- Place the kneaded dough into a greased bowl, cover, and let it rise in a warm area for 1 hour.
- Prepare the filling by mixing 1 cup of chopped fresh strawberries, ¼ cup granulated sugar, and 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon.
- Once the dough has risen, punch it down and roll it out into a rectangle. Spread ¼ cup of softened butter and sprinkle the strawberry filling.
- Slice the rolled dough into 12 pieces and arrange in a greased baking dish.
- Cover with a towel and let rise for 30 minutes.
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and bake for 25 minutes until golden brown.
