Step-by-Step Instructions
- In a sauté pan, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil over low heat. Add 2 thinly sliced onions and 2 minced garlic cloves, stirring to coat. Cook for 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the onions become soft, caramelized, and deep golden brown.
- Remove the pan from heat. Allow the mixture to cool for about 5-10 minutes to prevent the yogurt from curdling. Finely chop the caramelized onions.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the chopped caramelized onions with 1 cup of non-fat Greek yogurt. Add 1 tablespoon of Worcestershire sauce, salt, and freshly cracked black pepper to taste. Sprinkle in 1 teaspoon of dried parsley and 1/2 teaspoon of garlic powder. Mix until thoroughly combined.
- Transfer the dip to a serving bowl and garnish with fresh parsley if desired. Serve with veggie sticks, whole-grain crackers, or homemade pita chips.

Notes
Allow the onions to cool before mixing with yogurt to ensure the dip remains creamy. Adjust seasoning to taste before serving.
