Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Place chicken breasts in the bottom of the slow cooker. Add cream cheese, cubed unsalted butter, minced garlic, salt, and black pepper. Pour in chicken broth and heavy whipping cream, ensuring everything is combined.
  2. Cover the slow cooker and set it to high for 2-3 hours or low for 4-5 hours until chicken is tender.
  3. After cooking, remove chicken and shred it into bite-sized pieces. Return it to the slow cooker and stir to mix with the sauce.
  4. Add uncooked penne pasta and grated Parmesan cheese to the slow cooker. Mix well to ensure pasta is coated.
  5. Re-cover the slow cooker and cook on high for an additional 35-40 minutes, stirring occasionally.
