- Soften cream cheese at room temperature for about 20 minutes, then mix in cheddar cheese, chopped bacon, mayonnaise, sour cream, and hot sauce until combined.
- Slice a thin layer off the bottom of each bagel and hollow out the center carefully.
- Fill each bagel with the creamy mixture and smooth the tops with a spoon.
- Preheat oven to 190°C (375°F) and bake the filled bagels for 12 to 15 minutes until golden brown.
- Remove from oven, cool for a couple of minutes, and garnish with crispy bacon bits and chives before serving.
