Preparation Steps
- In a large pitcher, combine 4 cups of cold water with 4 green tea bags or the equivalent loose leaf green tea. Allow to steep for 5–7 minutes before removing the bags or straining out the loose leaf.
- Once the tea has cooled, add 2 ripe kiwis, sliced, to the pitcher. Mash gently with a muddler to release juices, then add fresh mint leaves.
- Incorporate 1-2 tablespoons of honey or your preferred sweetener, stirring gently to dissolve.
- Cover the pitcher and place it in the refrigerator to infuse for at least 6–8 hours, or even overnight.
- After the infusion period, strain the mixture to remove solid ingredients. Pour into glasses filled with ice cubes.
- Garnish each glass with a sprig of fresh mint and a slice of kiwi on the rim before serving.
