Preparation and Baking
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a mini muffin tin.
- In a large bowl, whisk together all-purpose flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- In another bowl, mix milk, eggs, melted butter, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Combine wet and dry ingredients, gently folding until just mixed. Add in any mix-ins desired.
- Fill each muffin tin cavity about ¾ full with batter.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.
- Allow the poppers to cool in the tin for about 5 minutes before removing.
- Serve warm with optional toppings like maple syrup or powdered sugar.
