Preparation Steps
- Wash and chop the romaine lettuce into bite-sized pieces. Slice the tomatoes into wedges, peel and slice the onions thin, and cut the banana peppers into rings. Place all in a large mixing bowl.
- Slice the salami and ham into strips of uniform thickness.
- In the large bowl with the vegetables, add the sliced salami, ham, and shredded cheese. Toss lightly to combine.
- In a separate bowl, combine mayonnaise, red wine vinegar, olive oil, and Italian seasoning. Whisk until smooth, and season with salt and pepper.
- Drizzle the dressing over the salad and toss gently until well combined.
- Transfer to a serving dish and enjoy immediately or chill for 15 minutes before serving.
