Preparation Steps
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Thaw the puff pastry at room temperature for about 20-30 minutes.
- Sauté fresh spinach in a medium skillet until wilted, about 3-4 minutes.
- Mix the cooled spinach with crumbled feta cheese in a bowl.
- Roll out the thawed puff pastry into a rectangle about 1/8-inch thick.
- Spread the spinach and feta filling over the puff pastry, leaving a half-inch border.
- Cut the pastry into strips about 1 inch wide.
- Twist each strip several times and place on the baking sheet.
- Brush the tops with beaten egg.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown and puffed.
