Step-by-Step Instructions

  2. In a separate bowl, soften unsalted butter, then add maple syrup and vanilla extract. Beat until smooth and creamy, about 2 minutes.
  3. Fold the dry mixture into the wet mixture until just combined. Cover and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
  4. After chilling, roll portions of the dough into bite-sized balls and place on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Chill again for another 30 minutes.
  5. Melt semi-sweet chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl, stirring every 30 seconds until smooth. Dip each Pecan Pie Ball into chocolate and sprinkle with extra chopped pecans.
  6. Place the coated balls back on the baking sheet and chill for about 30 minutes until the chocolate sets.
