Ingredients
  

For the Base
  • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil or canola or avocado oil
  • 1 medium Onion chopped, yellow or white
  • 2 cloves Garlic minced, fresh
  • 1 teaspoon Dried Oregano or Italian seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon Dried Basil or fresh basil
  • 1 pinch Red Pepper Flakes optional
  • 1 cup White Wine dry variety like Sauvignon Blanc
  • 1 cup Heavy Cream or half-and-half
For the Seafood
  • 1 cup Lobster Meat or crab/scallops
  • 1 cup Shrimp peeled and deveined
For the Pasta and Cheese Layers
  • 12 sheets Lasagna Noodles regular or no-boil
  • 1 container Ricotta Cheese
  • 2 cups Mozzarella Cheese shredded
  • ½ cup Parmesan Cheese grated
  • ¼ cup Fresh Parsley for garnish
For Seasoning and Assembly
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Black Pepper
  • 2 tablespoons Butter for greasing

Step‑by‑Step Instructions
  1. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add chopped onion and sauté for 5 minutes until softened. Add minced garlic and cook for an additional minute.
  2. Sprinkle in dried oregano, dried basil, and red pepper flakes. Stir well and allow to meld for about 1 minute.
  3. Pour in white wine, simmering and reducing by half for 3-4 minutes.
  4. Add heavy cream, stirring over medium-low heat until thickened, about 5 minutes.
  5. Fold in lobster meat and shrimp, cooking for an additional 3 minutes. Season with salt and black pepper.
  6. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and butter a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  7. Layer three noodles in the bottom of the baking dish, followed by a layer of the seafood mixture and dollops of ricotta and mozzarella. Repeat twice.
  8. Top with remaining seafood mixture, mozzarella, and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
  9. Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes. Remove foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes until golden.
  10. Let rest for 10 minutes before garnishing with parsley and serving.
