  • 1 pound Sausage Cooked and crumbled
  • 6 large Eggs Whisked for custard base
  • 1 cup Milk or Cream For richness

  • 1 cup Cheese Shredded, use cheddar or mozzarella

Method
 

Directions
  1. Begin by tearing the fresh croissants into bite-sized pieces, set aside in a large mixing bowl.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, brown the sausage for about 5-7 minutes, then set aside.
  3. Whisk together the eggs, milk or cream, salt, and pepper in a mixing bowl.
  4. In a greased baking dish, layer the torn croissant pieces, followed by the cooked sausage and cheese.
  5. Pour the egg mixture evenly over the layers and press down gently.
  6. Cover the baking dish tightly with foil and refrigerate overnight.
  7. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and bake uncovered for 30-40 minutes.
  8. Let the casserole cool slightly before serving warm.
