Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Sear the Beef: Heat olive oil in a skillet. Season beef with salt and pepper, then sear for 1–2 minutes on each side until browned.
  2. Prepare the Crockpot: Transfer beef to the slow cooker, add drippings, soup mix, water, and beef broth. Cook on HIGH for 4–6 hours or on LOW for 8–10 hours.
  3. Shred the Cooked Beef: Remove beef, shred into pieces, and retain juices.
  4. Assemble the Sandwiches: Slice rolls, fill with shredded beef and broth, and top with cheese.
  5. Broil to Perfection: Preheat broiler and broil sandwiches for 2–3 minutes until cheese melts.
