Preparation Steps

  2. Crack the egg into a separate mixing bowl and beat it until smooth. Drain excess marinade from the chicken, then dip each piece into the beaten egg.
  3. Transfer the egg-coated chicken pieces to a bowl filled with cornstarch and toss gently until fully coated.
  4. In a wok or deep frying pan, heat enough vegetable oil over medium-high heat until it reaches 350°F.
