Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a medium bowl, combine the large shrimp, buttermilk, salt, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper. Marinate for 10 minutes.
  2. Pour cornstarch into a shallow dish. Dredge marinated shrimp in cornstarch, shaking off excess.
  3. In a large pot, heat 1½ inches of oil to 350°F.
  4. Fry the coated shrimp in batches for about 2 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
  5. In a large bowl, combine mayonnaise, Thai sweet chili sauce, and Sriracha to make the sauce.
  6. Toss the fried shrimp in the sauce gently and serve immediately.
