Step‑by‑Step Instructions for Cheesy Egg Bake
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease your 9x13-inch baking dish with butter or non-stick spray.
  3. In a skillet over medium heat, heat a drizzle of olive oil and sauté the diced onions, green bell peppers, and sliced mushrooms for about 5 minutes.
  4. In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, black pepper, and garlic powder until smooth and airy.
  5. Stir in the sautéed vegetables, diced ham or bacon, and 1 1/2 cups of shredded cheddar cheese.
