  • 2 tablespoons Lemon Juice fresh is preferred
  • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil or melted butter

Step-by-Step Instructions

  2. Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish with butter.
  3. Pat cod fillets dry, season with salt and black pepper.
  4. Place cod fillets in the greased baking dish, ensuring space between each.
  5. Melt about 4 tablespoons of butter in a saucepan over medium heat.
  6. Remove from heat, stir in panko breadcrumbs, chopped parsley, garlic powder, and lemon zest.
  7. Distribute the breadcrumb mixture evenly over the cod fillets.
  8. Drizzle lemon juice and olive oil over the breadcrumb topping.
  9. Bake for 12-15 minutes until cod flakes easily and topping is golden brown.
