  • 2 cups Prepared Apple Pie Filling applesauce or apple butter can be a good substitute

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Prepare the apple pie filling by peeling and chopping about 2 cups of apples, cooking them in a saucepan over medium heat for 10–15 minutes until softened.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooled apple pie filling, 1 cup of vanilla protein powder, 1/2 cup of coconut flour, and 1/2 cup of almond butter until well-blended.
  3. Roll tablespoon-sized portions of the mixture into balls and place them on a parchment-lined baking tray.
  4. Refrigerate the tray of protein balls for about 15 minutes to firm them up.
  5. Optionally, drizzle melted white chocolate over the cooled protein balls for a decorative touch before serving.
